Melanie Mino, a San Diego, California native, discovered her passion for the stage at a young age through local musical theater productions. Growing up surrounded by the vibrant arts community, she quickly found herself drawn to performance and storytelling. Her early experiences in community theater laid the foundation for a lifelong dedication to acting and artistic expression.

Pursuing her passion academically, Melanie attended San Diego State University where she studied Theatre Arts with an emphasis in performance. Her time at SDSU refined her skills and deepened her understanding and love of the performing arts. She has performed on numerous stages throughout San Diego County, earning recognition for her talent, versatility, and commitment to each role she inhabits.

In addition to her academic and professional training, Melanie has studied acting with esteemed local instructors Jacqueline Ritz, Justin Lang, and Jo Anne Glover. When she’s not performing, she enjoys spending time in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, exploring new destinations through travel, and giving back to her community by volunteering for a local Bichon Frise rescue. Her love of the arts and compassion for others continue to shape her both as an artist and as an individual.
